KREST Publishers is an independent and innovative publishing house based in sunny Durban, South Africa.
The story of how we came to be originates in a typically-beautiful Durban summer, of 2019. Our founding member, Keli, published ‘The Durban Four Hundred’ which became a local gem.
Realizing that the book’s greatest charm was its inherent passion for the city, Keli partnered with local telecommunications company LOCHAN MEDIA to set about constructing the framework for KREST Publishers, which publishes South African authors with a passionate story to tell. KREST became fully independent in late 2020 and is now privately owned by the Hariparsad family.
KREST Publishers aims to create an exciting, enjoyable publishing and marketing process for our authors, resulting in great royalties for their hard work.
