The KREST House is marching towards becoming the greatest storytelling empire in the world, through sharing the most bold, vivid, and inspiring stories anyone will ever read. We are confident in this mission because we believe we are presently living out one of the most inspiring stories that will ever be told about a business in the future.
Our story starts with our founder, Keli H, who always knew she wanted to be writer, growing up. But, like many artists, she was told that creative talents are not real careers - they're hobbies. So she did the conventional thing instead and became a medical doctor. After working in hospitals for several years, she finally mustered up the courage to quit and follow her love of stories. And so, KREST Publishers was born. In the 3 years that the company has existed she has been able to lead the team to 8 book award nominations - including Best Publishing Company in SA at the 2022 BBA, alongside international publishing conglomerates that have existed for eons. It was all because of a honed mission to tell inspiring stories. The company has also grown to include not just book publishing, but other storytelling divisions too:
